Nicolas Asencios

Nicolas Asencios is a highly skilled and accomplished tattoo artist from Lima, Peru. From a young age, he was drawn to the arts, first with drawing and painting, and later with graffiti. But after completing his studies in architecture, he felt a strong pull to pursue a career in the tattoo industry. He taught himself the craft, starting by tattooing friends, and quickly developed a strong foundation in drawing and spatial composition.

Specializing in realism and black and grey, Nicolas’s style and technique rapidly evolved, and he began working at some of the most renowned tattoo parlors in Lima. He also began attending conventions both locally and internationally in South America, where his artistry was recognized and appreciated. His artistic growth and talents could not be unnoticed, and he was invited by Zhimpa and Darwin to become part of the team of resident artists at Inknation Studio NYC, one of the top tattoo shops in the city.
