Denisse Veayra

Denisse Veayra is a multi-award winning Mexican tattoo artist specialized in black and gray realism/surrealism style. She has been tattooing professionally for 7 years. Her strong desire for growing, evolving and connecting her art internationally guided her to move to the United states for the first time. She now resides in Miami, Florida in June 2022.

As well as having a big love for tattooing, she also loves other forms of art such as drawing and painting. All her tattoos are custom, conceptual designs based on brief ideas given by my clients.

The themes she likes to work with are: nature, animals, portraits, magic, cosmic, movies, horror, just to mention some, adding a dark touch to every piece and continually playing between realism and surrealism, dark/light concepts. She doesn’t do religious, pre hispanic architecture, geometry, watercolor pieces or any other style that can’t be solved with black and gray or her vision as an artist. She doesn’t tattoo designs that are considered cliché, because she loves to create and give her clients a more unique and custom piece.

In addition to her remarkable achievements in the tattoo industry, Denisse Veayra has recently joined the Inknation Studio team in New York. As a multi-award winning Mexican tattoo artist, she specializes in the captivating black and gray realism/surrealism style. With seven years of professional experience, Denisse’s talent and dedication have earned her a reputation as a highly sought-after artist.

Driven by her unwavering passion for personal growth, artistic evolution, and international connections, Denisse made a significant decision to embark on a new chapter in her career. In June 2022, she relocated to Miami, Florida, marking her first venture into the United States. Currently residing in Miami, Denisse is thrilled to contribute her exceptional skills to the renowned Inknation Studio team in New York.

Apart from her profound love for tattooing, Denisse also explores various other artistic forms, including drawing and painting. Her distinctive approach involves creating custom, conceptual designs based on the brief ideas shared by her clients. Denisse gravitates towards themes such as nature, animals, portraits, magic, cosmic elements, movies, and horror. Infusing each piece with a dark touch, she masterfully intertwines realism and surrealism, effortlessly playing with the concepts of light and darkness.

As an artist, Denisse Veayra prefers to focus on black and gray or her unique artistic vision, choosing not to undertake religious, pre-Hispanic architecture
